Enter 5364 in the prologue, collect the Gear Boy route items, exhaust Larry and Lisa dialogue, and choose one tea outcome. Replay Chapter One later for the alternate tea achievement rather than trying to force both outcomes into one run.
Clear every optional route before Chapter Three ends
In Chapter Two, revisit Gear Boy reactions and speak to Larry after discoveries. In Chapter Three, complete the timed journal route, choose 3-2-3-2 with Travis, and verify all eleven journal pages before the late basement route.
Treat Chapter Four as the strict checkpoint
Before Room 103, finish every resident conversation, collect five teeth, archive all nine VHS tapes, complete Larry's optional interactions, and protect the clean guitar streak for Dark Melodies and Destroyer.
Finish Chapter Five on a clean run
Read all notes, use every key dialogue option, collect all color pieces, and solve the DOG route. A game-over screen ends the clean attempt, so begin a fresh Chapter run before trying for Escaping Death. Complete it only after Chapters One through Four show their full recap completion.
